Brenna Gaeta
Brenna R. Gaeta is an attorney who focuses her practice on insurance coverage litigation and estate planning.
Ms. Gaeta began her legal career as an Assistant District Attorney with the Queens County District Attorney's Office, where she handled all aspects of criminal cases from investigation through trial. She was a part of the Office’s Riding Program, whereby she was on call 24 hours a day to draft search warrants and supervise lineups in connection with felony contraband and cases. She ended her career there working in the Domestic Violence Unit, where she gained significant courtroom experience, trying serious felony cases to verdict and building a strong foundation in advocacy.
Today, Mrs. Gaeta brings that litigation background into her estate planning and commercial litigation practice. Her experience in the courtroom allows her to anticipate potential issues, helping clients avoid disputes whenever possible and positioning them strongly if challenges arise.
In addition to her practice, Mrs. Gaeta has served as an adjunct instructor at multiple institutions of higher education, including Columbia Law School and St. John’s University School of Law, where she has taught courses focused on business law, legal skills and trial advocacy.
